Additional Information:

Tim Grey has been passi onate about photography since his first photography class in high school. In fact, his passion for photography and teaching has driven him to build his career around educating photographers.

During the past two decades, Tim has focused on not only having a deep knowledge of photography and the tools for optimizing photos, but also on developing an approach to realizing his photographic vision. In this online workshop, you'll learn not only how the various adjustment tools in Lightroom work, but also how to approach each image to produce the best photographic results.

During four live online sessions Tim will address various stages of the workflow for optimizing photos within Adobe Lightroom. You'll learn about basic tonal and color adjustments, correcting various image-quality problems such as noise and lens distortion, applying targeted adjustments that affect specific areas of the photo, and incorporating plug-ins and Photoshop into your workflow.

Perhaps more importantly, you'll also gain insights into how to approach the process of optimizing your photos and making decisions about the specific adjustments you might want to apply to a given image.

Along the way you'll be able to get answers to your questions, both during the online presentations and via email. You'll also receive photo-optimization assignments, and will share your results with the full class through a private Facebook group. Tim will provide a critique of your work, and other students will be encouraged to comment as well.
